Studio Services

Steve Leavitt works exclusively out of Thud Studios A in North Hollywood. Studio A is a 28x16 foot 72 track dedicated mixing room with true outboard gear (equipment list), Pro Tools, and a vast array of mic and preamp choices. Spacious control room comfortably seats 5 and has large custom reference speakers. Services we offer are recording, mixing, vocal overdubs, guitar overdubs, editing, vocal comping, orchestra programming, Adat, Dat, and DA-88 transfers and more.

We have a 5 x 11 foot iso booth that’s great for recording vocals, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass cabs, percussion, and more.

Drums can be done at our partner studio in Sherman Oaks. Acoustically tuned room with top of the line DW kit, permanently miked (less setup time) choice of 14 different industry standard snares. Pro Tools HD.
